Fixture Annoucement

Our 2021 Betfred Championship campaign will kick off with Haven traveling  to West Yorkshire on the Easter Weekend to play our first league game in 389 days. Gary Charlton’s squad will travel to the Tetley’s Stadium to take on Dewsbury Rams.

Our first home league encounter will see promoted Newcastle Thunder travel to the Recreation Ground on Sunday 18th April. Thunder come into the Championship having been selected by the RFL to come into the Championship to replace Leigh Centurions who were promoted to the Betfred Super League to replace the departed Toronto Wolfpack.

Although Haven will not travel to the south of France this coming season, we do take on Toulouse when we welcome the French outfit to the Recreation Ground on Sunday 16th May, followed by consecutive away fixtures vs Widnes Vikings and Sheffield Eagles, who will play their home games at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium.

Oldham, promoted alongside Haven in the 2019 season, will visit the Recre on Sunday 25th July , a fairly short turnaround between our 2 head-to-heads, as Haven travel to take on the Matt Diskin’s on Sunday May 9th. The regular season ends on Sunday 19th September with a visit to John Kear’s Bradford Bulls. Full details for streaming for those game that are played behind closed doors will be confirmed soon but we can’t wait to not only return to the field but to welcome all members of the Chocolate, Blue and Gold army to the terraces of the Recreation Ground and see you loud and proud on the away terraces as soon as possible!

“All fixtures are subject to change due to OurLeague streaming for those games that are played behind closed doors”
