Jackson Smith to call Haven home for next two season

Whitehaven Rugby League are delighted to announce the two year contract extension of prop forward Jackson Smith.

Smith joined the chocolate, blue and gold on trial from local club Hensingham and has since gone on to really impress fans and coaching staff.

He made his debut for the club away to Keighley in February

Speaking on the deal with our very own Jordan Weir, Smith said:

It’s a pleasure to sign for my home-town club and one I’ve always supported.

I was expecting to play for Hensingham most of the season and play a handful of games for Haven but I’ve had a lot more game time than I was expecting.

He joins Ben Pearce, Brad Brennan and Ciaran Walker who have all resigned respective deals ahead of the 2027 season.

Keep an eye on our social media pages for more signing news coming your way soon.
