Local winger, Andrew Bulman has said "Haven's my home" as the 27-year-old prepares for a second spell in Chocolate, Blue & Gold.

Just over two weeks ago, it was announced after four seasons away Bulman would be rejoining Haven after spending some time with South Cumbrian neighbors Barrow.

When asked about his return to the club he said-

"I'm really excited. I always knew I'd come back, and that's no disrespect to Barrow, they've looked after me and are a great club. But Haven's my home"

Andrew made 67 appearances for Whitehaven, scoring 45 tires and 180 points in 4 season with Whitehaven.

When he left the club at the end of the 2022 campaign, the pacey winger had reached double figures for tries in three of his four seasons at the club.

The only year he failed to reach 10 or more was the curtailed 2020 campaign where he scored two tries in five games before the season was cut short.

Speaking on how the club's current position he said-

"The club is going in the right direction, both on and off the field, and the lads are really buying into what Newts is telling them"

Bulman has signed a two-year contract with the club, keeping him at the Ortus Recreation Ground until 2028.

Rounding things off he said-

"The aim is now to kick on and have an even better year, and hopefully I can play a part in that. I still feel my best rugby is ahead of me".
