Copeland Rugby League Community Development Foundation are delighted to announce the relaunch of the Foundation to help promote and support rugby league development in Copeland. The Foundation has been inactive for some time but three new Trustees have taken over the running of the charity and are looking forward to working with and in the community of Copeland.
The new trustees are:
Carl Walmsley, a Copeland Borough and Whitehaven Town Councillor.
Amanda Hewer who has previously worked as a Development Officer for the Foundation
The Foundation will be looking to work in local schools and the community on various projects.
The first project commences next month with four Summer Rugby Camps arranged for two age groups. The camps will be held at the LEL Arena and led by Haven player Alex Bishop with other players joining him to coach the kids. The dates and age groups are:
Age 7-10 August 3rd and 16th
Age 11-15 August 4th and 17th.
Each session is from 10am to 2pm and costs £5. If two sessions are booked then the cost is £8 for the two.
