Vice Presidents Club

The Whitehaven RLFC Vice presidents Club has been operating in various different guises since 1990.

The present Vice Presidents club was reformed in 2001 and meets quarterly in the JJ McKeown Bar. These evening meetings offer supporters of the club to come together in an informal social setting and enjoy listening to some good rugby crack with our special guests.

Past guests have included David Waite the GB Coach and Barry McDermott the ex-Leeds Rhinos skipper. In addition there is usually a hot meal provided and the night is finished off with a comedian.

These meetings also give Vice Presidents the opportunity to vote the next Haven player into the Whitehaven Hall of Fame. Current members of the Hall of fame are JJ McKoewn, Bill McAlone, Bill Holliday, Dick Huddart, Phil Kitchen and Tommy Keen.

Membership for the Vice Presidents club is only £10 per annum and is open to men and women.
