Scott McAvoy



Former Hensingham amateur who joined Haven last season. He was a member of the BARLA Young Lions tour of Australia in 2004 and captained the Lions the following year in a two game series against the French.

Scott played a couple of trial games with the Wigan U21 side before committing himself to a career with his hometown club. Scott, who is equally at home in the centre position missed the latter end of the 2006 season with an ankle injury, but early indications are that he will play a key part in Haven's 2007 NL1 season.
