Saia Makisi



Tongan International Saia can play on both the wing or the centre. He represented his country in 2005 and scored a try against Cumbria in 2006. Standing 6'2" tall and weighing in a 16 stone, the powerful Tongan also has a good turn of pace.

Saia has had spells with Cantebury Bulldogs, West Tigers, North Sydney Bears and more recently Cronulla Sharks. He has come to Whitehaven on the recommendation of former Haven coach Stan Martin.
