Rob Jackson

Rob Jackson

Signed from Leigh Centurions at the start of the 2006 season. Rob is a former graduate of the Wigan development programme who signed for the Warriors in September 1998. He failed to break into the Wigan first team and moved to London in 2002, where he made 40 appearances for the Broncos' over a three-year period. In 2005, Rob moved to the Coliseum where he became a regular for the Centurions in Super League, playing mainly at centre but occasionally on the wing. In the latter stages of the season, he found a rich vein of form scoring tries in three successive away encounters. Rob is no stranger to Whitehaven having spent a loan period with the club in 2002 and where his sensational last minute try against Oldham will long be remembered by the Recreation Ground faithful.

2006 playing record: Played 23(+1), 14 tries.
