Signed midway through last season from neighbours Workington Town on a two tear contract. Ricky appeared 15 times in Super League during his time at Sheffield Eagles and was a member of the Eagles challenge cup semi-final winning team of 1998.
Injury prevented him making the challenge cup final when the Eagles overcame Wigan to record one of the greatest upsets in the history of the competition. A serious knee injury forced him to miss most of last season.
