Shaun joins Haven on a 12 month academy deal. He made a come back to rugby last season for Kells u18s in the National Youth League after not playing the game for nearly 5 years.

Shaun was very impressive for the u18s, so impressive that Peter Smith gave Shaun his Kells 1st team debut in the amateur cup final win over Hensingham. Shaun crashed over for a try with his first touch of the ball in that game and won a lot of awards at the Kells u18s Presentation night. He has made a big impact on the Kells first team this season.

Shaun played a handful of games for Workington’s reserves grade last season, but turned down their offer this season and signed up with Haven.
