David Ford

1st Team Debut: Barrow away, 2006

David joined the club in 2005 from Kells and played for them in the National Youth League. However during the 3rd game of the season, David suffered a horrific knee injury against Hensingham at the Recre which ruled him out for the entire academy season 2005-2006.

However he made a huge comeback and made his 1st team debut against Barrow at Craven Park in 2006. The blockbusting prop then made his National League 1 debut against Rochdale at the Recre and showed he can make the step up with some barnstorming runs and big hits going in.

David played for the reserve grade during the 2006-2007 season and was on the verge of the first team a couple of times. He recently penned a new 2 year deal at Haven and played against Workington in the Ike Southward memorial game when he came of the bench and had a great game.
