Craig Benson
Position: Full Back
1st Team Debut: Leigh away, 2007
Craig joined Whitehaven from Kells ARLFC in 2006 on a 2 year deal. He is seen as the long term term replacement for Gary Broadbent and already things look good for Craig who played a handful of first team games last season. Although he didn't play at his usual position of full back, he played on the wing and never let anybody down and showed why he is so highly rated by the club.
Craig won the reserve grades coaches player of the year at the clubs presentation evening.
