Profile:

Despite his Polish name Andy was born and bred in Leigh and started his career with the Leigh Miners amateur club. Andy has represented Lancashire and Great Britain Young Lions and was named as BARLA Young Player of the Year in 1998. In 1999 he signed for the Wigan Academy before taking up a full-time deal with Salford the following year and where he made a couple of appearances at Super league level. His stay at Salford lasted for four years before joining Rochdale. In his first year at Spotland he was made club captain and went on to represent the Hornets for the following four seasons.

In 2008 he joined Halifax for seven games before coming to Haven for the latter half of last season. In a show of his commitment to the club, Andy has recently moved from his Leigh home to Whitehaven.
