A depleted Reserves team made the long journey to South Yorkshire with only 15 players , but showed great determination to win 19-12 and move into 3rd in their league  . After going 12 nil down early in the game they fought back to be 12-6 in arrears at the half , thanks to a Dan Smith try and a Mark Bainbridge Goal . The second half saw further trys through Chris Smith and Lee Haney both converted by Bainbridge , though it the required a big defensive  effort from the lads to deny the Eagles any further points ,before Danny Barker sealed teh win with a late field goal
